Finally figured out how to post a picture....
So this is what happens when you get bitten by a brown recluse spider (All the wounds around the big one are called "satellite eruptions" where the spider venom travels thru the skin and forces it way out.....This was from 3 weeks ago, the venom finally stopped traveling and now I'm almost all healed up, although I've got some wicked scars lol.
Lesson one: Wear gardening gloves....lol
Lesson two: There is no anti-venom for the Brown recluse...so all you can do is let the wound run its course till its done necrotizing the surrounding flesh (brown recluse venom is just like rattlesnake venom, only a much smaller dose)...
Lesson three: At least it was me and not one of the kids
Lesson four: Doctor's seen 14 (Primary care, ER doctor's Dermatologists, specialists ect), biopsy's done 3, cultures for infection, more than I can remember (nothing ever grew, no infection ever) people it takes to diagnose, only one (dermopathologist) as long as they are familiar with testing for venom not infection...LMAO
